BRINGING COMMUNITIES TOGETHER WITH HEALTH AND FITNESS

Bringing people together is what i love! So i started a Walk/Social in Berkhamsted where I'm based as a fitness trainer, posting the idea on social and found it fairly popular. 

Being a fitness trainer and trying make an impact of communities is such a great thing, not only do you meet new people, its a great way to connect and in a way its good to get outside of your comfort zone. 

Health and fitness doesn't have to be just going to the gym, going for that run, this was a great health and fitness event where we meet, greet and enjoy the countryside of where we live, breathing in the fresh air, talking to new people, bouncing ideas off of one another, and getting those steps in. 

WHY DO WE DO IT?

It's great to meet new people, to improve their Mental Health, and to bring the community together. 

HOW LONG ARE THE WALKS? 

We tend to go for a good 50 minute walk, i can vary on the route too but in theory a good 50 minute walk early on in the day wont take up too much of everyones weekend. 

WHENS THE NEXT ONE? 

We've just completed our second one today so were in preparation for the next one, were thinking around July time. 

CAN ANYONE JOIN? 

Absolutely, and all fitness levels too, its more of a slow walk/gathering to get everyone out especially in the summer months.
